President of the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions, Helen Kelly describes a new direction for the workplace of the future. She outlines seven key features that will help to create the future that we want to live in, replacing the well-known ‘seven deadly sins’ which are currently doing unruly damage to our workplaces.
Helen Kelly is the president of the Council of Trade Unions and has a long history in the union movement, primarily in the education sector. Trained as a teacher and holding an LLB from Victoria University, Helen’s CTU responsibilities include economic development, employment law, climate change, social partnership, ACC and pay and employment equity. She is also a member of the Climate Change Leadership Forum and co-chairs the Workplace Health and Safety Council.
